Ortega River Club
The Nominating Committee with Becky Rood as chair will be seeking qualified candidates to serve as officers and board members. They will be reviewing candidates for 7 board positions, and one (1) member for each elective office, President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer to come up with a slate of officers and board members. If you are interested in volunteering to be active in the leadership of the club at the highest level and running for one of these positions, please forward to Becky Rood at mobilemomm@aol.com your statement of interest, how you have served the club in the past, and what you feel you can offer the club if elected no later than October 1st.
At the October 13th General Meeting, the recommended candidates selected by the nominating committee will be presented. Additionally, nominations from the floor will be solicited. A complete listing of the candidates selected by the nominating committee and nominations from the floor will be published in the November newsletter. You will have the opportunity to review these candidates, their statement of interest and supporting comments.
Let your voice count by attending the October 13th General Meeting and voting at the November 10th General Meeting and Election.
